TMJ McKenzie - Dentist
My dental practice, TMJ McKenzie & Associates, based in Sevenoaks, Kent, has about 10,000 patients. The practice is extremely successful and has been operating for 25 years. It is supported by 3 dentists, 3 hygienists and a number of administrative staff.
Back in 2004, I became concerned about the increase in missed appointments each day. When I worked it out I realised that the missed appointments were losing the business a substantial amount of money each month.
The following week, Brant visited for treatment. During the consultation, I happened to mention the problems we were experiencing with missed appointments. This conversation led to us taking the Appointment Prompting System (APS) on trial for a year from Ecce Media.
The APS is an easy to use online appointment booking system with an automated reminder service using SMS text or email. It is an Internet based solution requiring a broadband connection, such as BT Broadband and a standard computer.
The APS data is stored and backed up on highly reliable and secure hosted servers that are accessible 24x7x365 by authorised personnel at the Practice. We can access the online appointment schedule from the practice, home, or anywhere, using any computer connected to the Internet.
Ecce Media takes care of all the software, server hardware, maintenance, backup and upgrades. My staff simply point their web browser to the website address provided and start scheduling on our own secure appointment system.
Since installing the APS, the headache of managing our patients’ appointments has disappeared, patients book appointments and then simply forget, with this system everybody is happy.
