Santas Choice
"Santas Choice is a Christmas Hamper company launched in Canada in late 2005. Our team had worked in the hamper industry before so we knew exactly what we needed to run the CRM portion of our business. We also knew that there were no 'off the shelf' programs that could possibly handle all our requirements. Having worked with Brant McNaughton of Ecce Media on other projects, we knew this was the team to develop our CRM program.
We needed to track our leads and orders, follow the order through interval payments, have the ability to make order changes, and ultimate fulfilment of our thousands of hamper orders. We knew we needed a web based application to allow remote access by customer service agents, our warehouse and delivery teams.
We had less than three months from conception to first customer request. It was a constant work in progress. Our new program, “Blitzen”, was officially launched on December 1, 2005 and grew significantly over the next 3 years. It was a user friendly system, for both our customer service department, and our financial /operational staff.
Blitzen allowed us to accurately track our leads, sales, delivery, financial reporting, and provided the full reporting we needed to manage our marketing campaigns, hamper operations, and future growth. As with any program, there are always issues to be resolved, new requirements and “what if” scenarios. The team at Ecce Media came through for us, developed solutions that saved hours of manual processing time, and provided user support to help us in our growth!
More recently Ecce Media rebuilt our Canadian website for the 2009/2010 season. The Ensemble site management system allows us to make content changes with ease, along with order processing and fulfilment. The website is well optimised in the natural search engine listings. Ensemble gives us the ability to constantly monitor the websites performance, add product and make any onsite changes where needed.
